The Puritii Air Purification System (APS) can be sold to clinics, retirement homes, veterinary institutions and any other medically oriented institution based on the institutions' individual regulations. In general, Medicaid lists Air Cleaners as 'environmental control equipment not primarily medical in nature' (§1861(n) of the Act). This designation means that air purification systems are typically not considered reimbursable as Durable Medical Equipment. There may be exceptions to this rule and customers are encouraged to speak with their physician and insurance provider.
Regardless of Medicaid's designation, the Puritii APS has been thoroughly tested to remove over 99.9% of fine particles and up to 99.99% of VOCs like aldehydes, ammonia compounds, and benzenes, making it a necessary addition to every clinic, office, classroom, nail salon, gym, restaurant, or anywhere else, but especially every home.
